NOH8 Campaign Photo Shoot

Juliannah, Spencer's sister and Dawn, Spencer's mom were honored to take part in the NOH8 Campaign photo shoot in November. The NOH8 Campaign is a charitable organization whose mission is to promote marriage, gender, and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest. Many thanks to the NOH8 co-founders, Adam and Jeff.

Windphone

My first Mother’s Day without Spencer I was desperate to feel connected to him. I traveled to Safety Harbor and visited a Wind phone to talk to him. The wind carried my words to him and it was exactly what I needed. I felt peace. I felt calmness. I felt less heavy. When I left, I made it a goal to build one here in Englewood, FL. For my community. For everyone who has ever lost someone they love. I wanted everyone else to have that experience.

Englewood, FL now has a Windphone. For holidays, birthdays, angel dates. Tough days. Days where the tears just fall. When the weather is bad and the depression takes over. When you just want to talk to your person. Visit the Windphone and call - from here….to ANYWHERE!

We feel this has a double meaning! Spencer continues to shine his light from his magical place, and we can all continue to shine our light here on earth!

2025 Annual Shoe Drive

Our annual Shoe Drive for Spencer's heavenly birthday has grown each year and is now a huge success. Thank you for your donations and your love for this organization in his honor.

2025 Scholarships and School Activities

Spencer Stephens Memorial Scholarships

What an honor it is to gift the LBHS Seniors with scholarships each year in honor of Spencer. Thank you to each and every person who supports our mission and organization. We couldn't do this without you!

We were able to gift $5,000 in scholarships to the Lemon Bay High School class of 2025 in Spencer's memory.

We sponsored two community art projects with Lemon Bay High School and Englewood Elementary in 2025. Pictured here is the Sea Turtle that four LBHS art students created - "The Hidden Gem with a Heart". Also pictured is the Soaring Eagle that every student at Englewood Elementary had a hand in painting. Both of these sculptures are located in the Educational Garden at 240 W. Dearborn Street, Englewood.

We love to support our local kids! One of our efforts includes collecting old instruments, getting them repaired, and donating them back to the local schools. Here are just a few examples of our recent donations.

We delivered a beautiful Tenor Saxophone to L.A. Ainger Band. This saxophone came full circle! This student started band with Ostrow in 6th grade and played throughout middle and high school, graduating from LBHS in 2018. It is now back in circulation. Thank you to the Schneider/Solares Family for your generous donation! We are stronger together!

Two brand new Yamaha clarinets and a Jupiter baritone saxophone have found a new home at LBHS band! We love supporting the kids in our community. All these kids in the band just received a Superior rating at their MPA’s! They work hard and they are all very talented. We feel very fortunate to be able to support their program.
